What Is BeatBuddy?

This is vol 2 of the beats based on 3-3-2 rhythm, but with a swing feel! All beats from vol. 1 are swung in this pack. They result in somewhat funkier grooves. 

A 3-3-2 Beat refers to a rhythm in 4/4 time signature which can also be thought of in terms of subdivision groupings as 123 123 12.

This rhythm is universally found in most cultures around the world in some shape or form. A variation of this rhythmic grouping is the basis for beats such as the Brazilian Baio, Trinidad’s Calypso, Puerto Rican Bomba and Reggaeton, US’s Charleston, Spanish Rumba, all the way to the various rhythm in the Middle East, India, and Africa.

This massive collection of 3-3-2 beat variations, that will cover many musical styles. A staggering number of 725 beats have been arranged into 77 songs, which you can easily preview to find suitable rhythms for your needs.

This pack contains only swung versions of these beats. Straight eight or sixteenth note feel versions of these beats are available here.

Included 3-3-2 beats utilize kick, snare/ rim, hats and ride:
