A one-of-a-kind custom beech drumset was sampled in a retro fashion to make your beats sound warm and cozy.
This style of drum sound was utilized on countless hits of yesterday and contemporary hits by artists such as John Mayer. Use this drumset for Pop, Dance, House, Classic Rock, or your original songs. Whether you are a music veteran performing classics, or an acoustic singer/songwriter looking to inject retro lineage into your tunes, this kit is for you. Retro Custom drumset sound is warm, punchy, deep, cozy with short sustain, and dry room ambiance. The toms are clearly defined with no ringing or overtones.
In the center of the kit is an ultra-deep 10″ custom-made maple snare drum, dry and deep-sounding. Providing punch and warmth in the low end is the 18″ kick. The toms are all single-headed with napkins gaff-taped to them for that familiar pillow-like sound.
